We only want free quality education, CPUT!
Transforming CPUT campus into military barracks is uncalled for. Poor students are heeding the call of the constitutional delinquent to apply and register for free at any public institution of higher learning in South Africa.
Teenagers in the Western Cape are currently experiencing the militarisation of CPUT in their quest to deny the poor the one resource that can get them out of poverty.
The management of CPUT must realise that it is a positive for South Africa as a whole to notice the zeal and commitment of young South Africans to be educated.
It is not rocket science to deal with walk-in and online applications simultaneously.
All that is needed is a little bit of innovative actions and immediate implementation.
